Harry Styles has been releasing music for half of our generations lives. My obsession with Harry Styles started when he was in One Direction and the release of some of their most famous songs like “What Makes You Beautiful.” In 2022, Styles released his third solo album “Harry House,” and has now released his latest album for 2026 “Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally.”
While doing an interview for BBC Radio on March 12, Styles discussed how important his music is to him.
“I want to be doing it because I love it and I know how special it is,” Styles said.
On Mar 23, 2022, when Harry Styles announced his previous studio album “Harry’s House,” Styles described it as a metaphoric exploration of his inner life and mental headspace.
“It’s everything that I’ve wanted to make,” Styles said
While doing an interview on Capital FM on Jan 23, Styles discussed the truth behind his new album “Kiss all the time. Disco, Occasionally” .
“I think I got used to missing a lot of things with friends, whether it was like invites and I think I got really used to saying no,” Styles said
Both “Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally” and “Harry’s House” have awesome singles and I’m interested in talking about two specific singles.
“Aperture”- I feel like this song really expresses who Harry Styles is and starting to be vulnerable to try new experiences. I love the flow and how soothing his voice sounds throughout the song. This song is inspired by his break from touring and choosing to open up and “let the light in” to his life.
“Music For A Sushi Restaurant”- I feel like this song is about Styles overcoming his fears. This single was popular all over TikTok when it first came out. In an interview with Apple Music in May 2022, Styles quotes “For a really long time, I was terrified of what my life was if I wasn’t up here doing music, on a show, doing something,”
In the end, the album is exactly what it promises, a reminder that while life may only be Disco, Occasionally, the choice to keep dancing is what truly defines us. For Styles, it seems that music is no longer just something he does, it’s finally something he’s living.
