The school district will host its annual Thanksgiving lunch Thursday, Nov. 21 in both the north and south cafeteria.

Guest tickets are now on sale at each school office for $5 each (adult or child).  All tickets must be purchased at the school office you are planning to attend for the meal.  All adult staff tickets (school employees) will be sold at the school office as well. School employees should note that if they plan to eat Thanksgiving lunch with their student, they must also purchase a ticket. The last day to purchase tickets is Nov. 18.

“It promotes great community and parental involvement,” Principal Dr. Jay Pickering said. “Grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, students. Everyone is more than welcome.”

Continuing the holiday tradition, typical Thanksgiving foods such as turkey, dressing, stuffing and mashed potatoes will be served.

“The attendance is usually bigger on the elementary and middle school side. But, we do have a lot high school age students attend,” Pickering said.

Dr. Pickering says that anyone is more than welcome to attend and the staff would love to have them. Come and enjoy the taste of home and share smiles with fellow students and parents.
