by Michael Tharrington.

Every Sunday she enters the Your Home Outlet off of Highway 5.

Junior Kaylee Newell has worked at Lynda Harmon’s store for about a year. After looking for a job for almost a year, the owner’s son, Newell’s best friend, offered her the job. After a simple yes, Newell was employed. Newell is Harmon’s only employee and she is often the only one at the store. She said working one on one with customers provided her with an advantage over the typical teenage job,

“I have regulars who come in a remember me,” Newell said. “It’s a really good job.”

As the only one employed at the Home Outlet, she said she is sometimes overwhelmed. Newell loves her job and makes $8 an hour.

“I love my job, my boss and the people,” She said.
