by Jordan Martin.

In class she is the soft-spoken, petite girl most would picture driving a quiet, small car. However, senior Emileigh Heathscott drives a vehicle that almost contradicts those aspects.

“I needed a vehicle so my dad took my mom’s motorcycle and traded it in for the truck,” Heathscott said. “It’s a blue, 1994 Ford F-150.”

She said she has driven it for about a year and a half.

“I love it,” Heathscott said. “I named it Ellie.”

She said most people are surprised not at the fact she drives a truck, but at the size compared to her.

“Their eyes always bug out when they see it and when they see me in it,” Heathscott said. “It’s awesome. It meets all my needs and I love it.”
