Senior shooting guard Logan Davis, a two-time all-conference selection basketball player, will be playing in the 58th Annual Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game. She is one of only two girl basketball players selected to play in the game in school history.

“It’s been a great honor for me. Not many people have done this from Bryant,” she said. “I’m excited to it and show that Bryant does have good people that come through here.”

Davis said basketball has always been more than a game to her.

“Basketball is pretty much my life,” she said. “To some people, it’s a game they play to be on a team, but to me, it’s a passion of mine that’s different from everybody else.”

Davis started playing basketball at a young age, following in her mother’s footsteps, who played throughout college. She averaged 11 points a game during the season as she led the team to the 7A State tournament, hit 33 percent from three-point range and scored a career-high 20 points against Sheridan. While she considers the All-Star selection to be the highlight of her senior year, Davis also said her greatest achievement is yet to come.

“The biggest accomplishment is improving through the years and getting the great honor of what I have to come in my future,” she said.

Davis plans to either play basketball in college or attend the University of Central Arkansas and become a physical therapist. The game June 20 at Farris Center at UCA.
