Boys Basketball:

The Hornets started off their week on Tuesday as they traveled to Conway to take on the Wampus Cats. A slow start never allowed the Hornets to get going as Conway outscored Bryant in every quarter on route to a 59-40 victory for the Wampus Cats. The Hornets responded on Friday, soundly defeating the Siloam Spring Panthers 60-38, claiming revenge against the Panthers for defeating Bryant 70-58 earlier in the year. Bryant finished the regular season with a 20-7 record overall and holds the No. 2 seed for the 7A State Tournament. The Hornets will face off against Rogers Heritage this Thursday to open the tournament.

Girls Basketball:

The Lady Hornets traveled to take on the Conway Lady Wampus Cats on Tuesday. The first place Conway team overwhelmed the Lady Hornets from the start, winning 83-47. Siloam Springs visited the Lady Hornets for the final game of the regular season and Bryant was able to close out the season with a 44-32 victory. The Lady Hornets finish the regular season with a 10-15 overall record and will face Bentonville this Wednesday for their first game in the state tournament.

Swimming:

The Hornet and Lady Hornet swim teams travelled to the Bentonville Community Center for the 7A State Championship on last weekend. The boys team finished 11th overall and finished 5th in the 200-yard freestyle relay race. The Lady Hornets finished 9th overall, lead by 7th place finishes in four events.
