“We did pretty well; we lost to Bentonville, 0-1, then we beat Mena, 7-0, I believe, then Lakeside, 6-0. It was a good tournament to help us get prepared for conference and state.”
How could you have done better as a team?
“Before the first game against Bentonville, we could have prepared better. We could have warmed up a little quicker and got our minds right. We just didn’t come out there ready and it really showed.
How do you match up against your next competitor, Benton, March 12?
“They’re going to be a solid team, but I feel like we’re pepared and we’ll hopefully come out there and everyone will have their minds right, and we’ll win the game.”
How do you get prepared and how does that help you during the game?
“Well, during practice I’ve been practicing a lot of free-kicks lately and everybody’s been just getting their mind on their business. And on the bus ride, nobody talks. We just put our headphones in and focus on what we’re going to do in the game.”
