Job of the week: Brianna Davis

Sophomore Brianna Davis sorts golf balls for Balls and Bubbles owner Steve Loibner.

“I know Steve’s wife and I told her I needed a job and she said that Steve would be excited for me to help him,” Davis said.

Davis started last August and said that she can work anytime she wants.

“Right now, since I have softball I go in on the weekends, but in the summer I will go in a couple of times during the week,” Davis said.

Davis said Steve dives and retrieves golf balls from ponds and then cleans them. Her job is to sort the balls into “good balls” and “bad balls.” She said the worst part about her job is it smells bad because of all the chemicals.

“It’s in Steve’s shop behind his house,” Davis said. “Since I’m by myself, I like to turn the radio up really loud.”

Davis said managing homework, school, and softball isn’t that hard because she makes her own hours. She works for three hours a couple days a week.
