Walking through the second floor of Building 8, students can see Student Senate’s latest project, the Insecurity Wall.
“As teenagers, we face problems every day and yet, feel completely secluded from society, feeling as if we have to face it alone,” Student Senate sophomore Stormi Chaloner said. “The Insecurity Wall is a public display of showing every student they are not alone and do not have to have the burden of daily problems by themselves.”
All students can anonymously submit insecurities to be posted on the wall. Drop boxes are located in the freshman office, Nancy Lafferty’s room (Building 8, Room 21) and outside the library.
“Most students feel like they have to go through things that no one else does,” Chaloner said. “As Student Senate, we want to change that.”
