What is the team doing for spring football practice?
“In spring football, we’re adjusting to a new defense and offense. I don’t really know much about offense, but defense we’re going from a 4-3 to a 3-4, which is three down defensive linemen and four linebackers. [Right now] we practice two hours a day, and in three weeks we go to full pads for two hours and lift weights.”
What is your personal goal for the 2013 season?
“My personal goal is to help my team anyway I can, from cheering on the sidelines to playing 7A football, and just helping my team to succeed.”
What is the attitude in the locker room?
“There are a lot of different attitudes. There are people who are serious and get focused for practice and some that just talk and have a good time, and that focuses them. It depends on the person.”
How is the coach getting players ready for the season?
“We watch a lot of film. They give us a lot of pointers and they give speeches to motivate us. They push us really hard to do our best.”
