I scroll down my Twitter timeline.
“I wish it was summer.”
“I didn’t get enough sleep.”
“I’m so lonely, I wish I had a Valentine.”
It’s depressing. Everything we post revolve around the negativity in our lives. We focus on the things we don’t like about ourselves, but yet we do nothing to change it.
We Tweet it.
Will your Tweet change that insecurity you don’t like? Will it help you get that extra hour of sleep you chose to skip?
I scroll down my Twitter timeline.
“No school tomorrow.”
“Four day weekend.”
My timeline shows a little positivity about the upcoming break from school. Is that all the positivity we can find?
We live in a world where the only thing we can talk positivity about is not having to go to school. If we focused on the small positive things in our lives, we might have a better outlook on life. Guilty of this myself, I want to focus on the positive things to help give myself an upbeat attitude and leave me with a smile.
I want to focus on the “A” I made on my last history test. I want to focus on the smile I get when my niece greets me with “Hi, Jess-ka.” I want to focus on the fact that I have the ability to see the sun shine or the rain pour.
I want to live a positive life.
