“My parents. They’ve been through things, look back on them, and give me advice on what to do and what not to do.”

“Boys. It’s because I’m a girl and I’m not in that position. It seems like it’s greener on the other side.”
Shelby Gartrell: “If you were given a thousand dollars, what would you use it on?”
“I would save it. I would share it with my family and friends, but I’d save it.”

“What do your parents do that embarrass you the most?”
“My dad is really embarrassing. I’ll have friends over and he’ll say the corniest jokes. He just thinks he’s so funny.”
