BHS Student Senate honored seniors on Feb. 24 in the Hornet Arena between the girls’ and boys’ basketball games.

On senior nights, student senate introduces each senior as they’re escorted by close friends or family members across the floor.

This time around, they honored track members, basketball players, pep club and journalism. 

The track members honored includes Laylah Bonner Bey, Addison Fish, Ariadna Flores Isturiz, Shilayah Hammond, Taegan Herrien, Emily Koon, Brodie Fischer, Zachary Long, Derrick Jones, Tristen Knox, Angel Vargas Maya, Dylan Middleton, Owen Nelson, Marvion Williams and Jayden Welch.

The basketball players honored are Eryn Carter, Ziyah Thompson, India Robinson, Nia Sims, Landiss Brewer, Jonathan Frost, RJ Newton and Kellen Robinson.

The people from the pep club who were honored are Isabela Botello, Anaiah Jenkins, Kaydence Kimbrough, Trinity Middleton, Jazmine Munoz, Noree Russell, Alanah Sharlow, Kennedi Smith, Aaniyah Taylor, Alayah Wade and Leighon Williamson.

The two journalism staff members who were honored are Aniyah Alexander and Natalya Quagliata.
