The Beale Street Music Festival, part of Memphis in May, is a music festival that is close in distance and forgiving in price ($135 for the full weekend; $45 dollars for a single day). There is no age restriction to get into the festival, but a photo I.D. is required for Ticketmaster will-call. The festival will take place in downtown Memphis, Tennessee, in Tom Lee Park, April 29-May 1. Here are a few tips and a list of the artists who are playing.

 

What to bring:

Your ticket, water bottle or Camelbak, photo I.D., blankets

What not to bring:

Selfie Stick, drones, food and beverage (will be available at the park but not allowed inside), lawn chairs, oversized umbrellas, weapons, thrown objects, roller blades/skates
