Popping Up at a New Location

Gourmet popcorn and sweets shop Pookie’s Popcorn recently announced their relocation plans Jan. 1. The independently-owned company has been open since 2017 and is currently located at 206 N. Reynolds Rd. 

Owner of Pookie’s Popcorn, Kim Simmons, announced their planned relocation on the business’s Facebook page. 

The new location will open opportunities for the small business and help provide a better experience for customers. 

“We will be moving in January to a new location that will have much better parking, no stairs, and will be wheelchair accessible,” Simmons wrote. “We are so excited so stay tuned to our page for updates.”

Simmons confirmed their plan to relocate Jan. 3. The move is expected to take place within the next two weeks. 

“We signed our new lease today, and we will be working as fast as we can to move to our new location,” Simmons said. “We will be at 5311 Hwy. 5 North, Suite 240, which used to be the old Papa Murphy’s.”

Simmons and Pookie’s Popcorn employees are excited for the business’s move and the benefits it will provide.

“We want to thank all of our customers for your support,” Simmons said. “It really means the world to a small business.”
