Freshman girls fall short of Cabot South, but freshman boys pull through in overtime

The girls game was fueled by tough defense and 32 turnovers. By the first quarter, Cabot was only up 1-6, but by halftime they had increased the gap, 5-20.
Jayla Anderson, the team’s lead scorer, was only able to steal 7 points against the Lady Panthers.
Despite its effort, the team was never able to catch up. The final score- 14-40.

Freshman boys took their ninth win in a row and continued to be first in conference.
The Panthers shot a 3-pointer with 19 seconds left in the game to tie it up, 31-31. In overtime, the team wouldn’t let Cabot have a single point, and they pulled through, 39-31.
