Boy’s Basketball:

Last Tuesday, Rogers Heritage traveled to Bryant to play the Hornets. Rogers Heritage defeated the Hornets both times the teams played each other last year, including a close contest in the first round of the playoffs. The Hornets got their revenge this time by soundly defeating Rogers Heritage 58-43 in a game where both teams committed a total of 65 fouls. Yesterday, the Hornets took on the injury-ridden Little Rock Catholic Rockets in the first round of the OrthoArkansas/CAC Invitational tournament. The Hornets defeated the Rockets with a score of 63-31 and will face the Maumelle Hornets tonight in the second round.

 

Girl’s Basketball:

The Lady Hornets were also victorious in their bout with Rogers Heritage last Tuesday, winning 57-52. In the first round of the OrthoArkansas/CAC Invitational Tournament, the Lady Hornets took on Valley View and lost a nail-biter by a score of 41-39. The tournament will continue for the Lady Hornets today as they face Maumelle.

 

Swimming:

The Hornet Swimmers finished second in a nine team meet at Bishop Park Thursday. The Lady Hornet Swimmers won their meet at the event that featured six teams.
